Absolutely beautiful place to stay and enjoy the tranquility of the Chitwan National Park. Our hut was spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and all staff were attentive and very friendly. The safari guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and we loved his animal calls, particularly the "jungle chicken". Our group enjoyed every minute of the time we spent there - the elephant safari (where we saw gorgeous Indian rhinos in the wild!), our boat ride, jeep safari, elephant briefing, picnic lunch, oxen cart ride, village visit, evening performance, etc. - everything was completely magical. There is a very small shop next to the dining area where we bought a "tiger paw print" and a tee shirt - not a lot of stock, but worth visiting.
Ci tornerei volentieri.
A wonderful relief from the awful roads in Nepal!! Away from all the traffic and dust. Temple Tiger is such a welcome change. The people here are SO wonderful - extremely friendly. Quiet and we really enjoyed its difference. We had coffee or tea brought to our room in the morning and made at our room.how lovely is that. Its not 5 Star - so sometimes it can get a little warm in the night if the generators are off for any reason - Lovely elephant rides that take you into the park. It was so peaceful. The boat rides from temple tiger are well worth going on. The river is quiet and so very relaxing - we had a picnic on the bank with our guide..we also had a ox ride to the local village. Such a great experience.
